Cloud House
Cloud House was developed by our core professional Ensemble of actors with Intellectual Disabilities. The piece draws from the myth of Icarus as the central character is given his wings to fly but along the way meets with love, joy and loss. Cloud House is performed both inside and outside of a moving dome tent as the character explore the new and search for each other. The piece is a response to the actors' exploration on what it is to be isolated, alone, to have the things you most wish for taken from you. What is it to have it pre ordained that you are not able to have love, to have a home, to have a child, to belong.
